Child safety standards
Unera is designed for university and Erasmus students aged 18 and above. This page outlines the platform's zero-tolerance standards, reporting procedures, and moderation measures related to child safety and CSAE prevention.
1. Age restrictions
- Unera is not intended for users under the age of 18.
- Creating an account as a minor is strictly prohibited.
- We reserve the right to remove or block any account suspected of being underage.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE
- Any content depicting or suggesting child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Grooming behaviour or attempts to contact minors for inappropriate purposes.
- Images, conversations, or files involving minors in sexual contexts.
Any violation may result in immediate account removal and reporting to relevant authorities where required.
3. Reporting and response
Users can report profiles, messages, events, or other content they consider inappropriate or unsafe.
- Reports involving CSAE risk are reviewed immediately.
- Accounts may be suspended during evaluation.
- Where necessary, reports are escalated to law enforcement or legally required authorities.
We aim to act on urgent safety reports within 24 hours.
4. Moderation practices
- User-generated content may be reviewed when flagged.
- Reports are prioritized by severity.
- Repeated or severe violations can result in permanent bans.
- Detection and moderation processes are updated over time.
5. Prevention measures
- Age-restricted registration.
- Profile and content reporting tools.
- Blocking tools for unwanted contact.
- Manual review of serious reports.
- Strict enforcement of community rules.
6. Cooperation with authorities
